This is spicy and delicious and the perfect accompaniment to a lovely chatty evening. * Simmer 1 litre apple juice with a few slices of orange peel, 1 cinnamon stick and 3 cloves for 5-10 mins. * Sweeten to taste with a little honey
Verjuice is unfermented cabernet sauvignon, used in cooking and dressings. Very yummy. * Pour a dash of verjuice (2 – 3 tablespoons) into your favourite wine glass * Top with soda water until you get a nice rose colour. * Sip, enjoy
